" if you were an investor, evaluating the organizational feasibility of a proposed venture, how would you evaluate passion?"

Organizational feasibility in entrepreneurship is very important as it is the beginning of a development of a venture between organizational in entrepreneurship.
Without feasibility, an organization will not be stable and will be facing lots of problems. Most product as well as services nowadays have very strong competition in the country as well as in the world.
The risk that must be taken in considerations of having a good business in the future is very important.

Passion is evaluated as if passion plays the main role in a business.
Without passion, a business would not be a reality. Besides that, a business would not be successful without passions inside the investor itself.
They will be very hard to be the source of fund of their fund. And this make the business will not be able to be operated smoothly.

Uniqueness of a business plays the main role in a business as well. This is said to be true as a business should be different from others in other to avoid a great competition inside a community.
The skills of managing the business also one of the evaluation of passion of a business. Skills will determine the successful of a business' management.

"In what ways do you think university students are uniquely capable to come up with new product or service ideas?"

This is the topic that we have to write on and post it in this blog for 4th week.
I personally think that university students are capable to come up with new product or services idea by operating a business that would much not only helping students in managing their daily lives in university but as well as generating income for their own future benefits.
University students might have been exposed to the culture inside the university that can give them ideas on what product that suitable to be sell inside university. The students also might face problems in their daily lives that give them ideas on what services that suitable to be operated in the university.
For example, there are students in some colleges, they might want to stay up in midnight in order to finish their assignments as well as their projects. So these students might face problems such as hard to find food at night and lack of junk food that can be eaten during midnight.
To overcome this, other students might come up with ideas of selling junk food in the midnight in order to help those student who face the problems of staying up on midnight.
Besides helping other students, by selling junk food, they might be able to generate income for their future use.

By this way, university students might be able to come up with ideas on new product and service ideas.

11/01/10 - Today , Puan Rafidah asked us to post a post in this blog and the question is ;

"Do you have what it takes to become successful entrepreneur?"

Firstly, entrepreneur gives the meaning of ;

entrepreneur is a person who has possession of a new enterprise, venture or idea and assumes significant accountability for the inherent risks and the outcome. He or she is a leader who combines land, labor, and capital to often create and market new goods or services.

In my opinion, as me myself, i don't have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. The main point of why i said so is that i don't like business as if i have to go face to face with people surround and sell things to them. I felt so shy and embarrassed to face people and communicate with them. From the meaning of entrepreneur itself, we can see that an entrepreneur got to have good idea and systematic idea on how to develop good business and get good market in the world and willing to face risks and the outcome. I do not have the ability to come out with good , systematic and unique idea in order to develop a good business.

Firstly, let me list out the characteristics that an entrepreneur should have:

Common Traits in a Successful Entrepreneur

1. Good health. Successful entrepreneurs must work long hours for extended periods of time. When they get sick, they recover quickly.

2. A Need to Control and Direct. They prefer environments where they have maximum authority and responsibility and do not work well in traditionally structured organizations. This is not about power, though. Entrepreneurs have a need to create and achieve by having control over events.

3. Self-confidence. Findings showed that as long as entrepreneurs were in control, they were relentless in pursuit of their goals. If they lost control, they quickly lost interest in the undertaking.

4. Sense of Urgency. They have a never-ending sense of urgency to do something. This corresponds with a high energy level. Many enjoy individual sports rather than team sports. Inactivity makes them impatient.

5. Comprehensive Awareness. They have a comprehensive awareness of a total situation and are aware of all the ramifications involved in a decision.

6. Realistic Outlook. There is a constant need to know the status of things. They may or may not be idealistic, but they are honest and straightforward and expect others to be the same.

7. Conceptual Ability. They have superior conceptual abilities. This helps entrepreneurs identify relationships in complex situations. Chaos does not bother them because they can conceptualize order. Problems are quickly identified and solutions offered. The drawback is that this may not translate well to interpersonal problems.

8. Low Need for Status. Their need for status is met through achievement not through material possessions.

9. Objective Approach. They take an objective approach to personal relationships and are more concerned with the performance and accomplishment of others than with feelings. They keep their distance psychologically and concentrate on the effectiveness of operations.

10. Emotional Stability. They have the stability to handle stress from business and from personal areas in their lives. Setbacks are seen as challenges and do not discourage them.

11. Attraction to Challenges. They are attracted to challenges but not to risks. It may look like they are taking high risks, but in actuality they have assessed the risks thoroughly.

12. Describing with Numbers. They can describe situations with numbers. They understand their financial position and can tell at any time how much they have in receivables and how much they owe.

So far, i do have good health but i would not say that i have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur as i am not good in controlling and directing and as an effect, i would not achieve or create something in entrepreneur. Besides, i do not have a good and high self-confidence like other people.

My first post

Hello everyone…
Welcome to my blog. This is a place where I can write everything that I want to share with all of you. Firstly, I would like to introduce myself in this post which is my first post on this blog.

My name is Mardhiah Hani binti Ab.Hamid and I will be turning 23rd on this 23rd of March. I’m from Penang and I currently studying in Universiti Utara Malaysia in Sintok Kedah. In my family, besides my parents, I also have 3 siblings, 2 nieces and a nephew. I am the youngest in the family. I’m currently taking Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons) and already in final year after 3 years of struggling to study. I am a simple person who is short, chubby and always smiling but when it comes to doing assignments, I always ensure that I finish up the assignments on time and the process of doing it runs smoothly. Sometimes, I am also a perfectionist but I can still consider on that because nothing in this world is perfect. I am a person who loves to make friends, loves photography so much and loves to laugh. Laugh is always a good medicine to me. Oh, when I’m talking about photography, I almost forgetting about something, everyone, please do visit my portfolio of photography and artwork through this address;

I love photography so much as it is my new hobby right now and almost every day I will spend lot of time by holding my Nikon D40 DSLR camera and snap some pictures. Besides enjoying new hobby, I’m actually practicing myself on how to snap better picture. My dream on this new hobby is that in the future, I will become a professional photographer that will bring up Malaysia’s name throughout the world perhaps. It might seem like something that hard to be achieved, but I will try and put 100% effort on this interest.

Enough about myself and let’s talk about my life. I am currently doing degree on Multimedia which takes 3 years and now I am currently in Final year. As a final year student, I would say the same as the other degree students which faces his/her final year, and yes, I can’t wait to finish up this semester and also finish up my practicum after this. Some people did say that student life is much better than working life. I wish I could agree with that, but I would not agree on that because I think I really want to experience how does it feel to be responsible towards my work and how to be socialize with people surrounding as I am in working area. That is my opinion about working.

Lastly, before I end this post, I would like to invite everyone who read this blog to be my friend on Facebook. You can find me in Facebook by typing my email :
